HONDURAS

Honduras is part of one of the countries of CentralAmerica; Honduras is located to the west by Guatemala, to the southwest by El Salvador, to the southeast by Nicaragua and to the south by the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Fonseca. Honduras became independent by 1821. The Honduras’s population is about 8 millions. Our Honduras is must known by our natural resources such as: minerals,coffee, and sugar cane.
In the pre-Columbiantime Honduras was part of Mesoamerica cultural area, was Christopher Columbus the first person that visit the Bay Island.
Honduras was organized as a province of the ´´kingdom of Guatemala´´ suppose  the capital was fixed first in ´´Trujillo´´ that is located on the Atlantic coast, then they it will be on Comayagua, and finally in Tegucigalpa that is in the central part of the country.

Honduras climate:
The climate varies from tropical in the lowlands to temperatures in the mountains. The central and southern regions are relatively hotter and less humid than the northern coast.
Our tourism:
Our country is privileged to have an extraordinary natural and cultural heritage: the Bay Islands are surrounded by the world’s second largest coral reef offering some of the best Scuba Diving in the Caribbean.

Honduras offers enormous tourism potential, just waiting to be discovered.
